Sanitary napkins should be provided at every Public toilet and even in trains also. Many famous hotels and clubs, they do give you sanitary napkins for 5 Rupees in there washroom. But more than there the need is in the public areas where sometimes any women start to bleed they can actually go and get the napkins from these public areas. With one of my friend it actually happened when she was going on a train and started to bleed and accidently had a stain but was not able to find any sanitary napkin in the train washroom. When Public as well as private sector departments can install coffee machines then it would be very much appropriate to have sanitary napkin providing machines too.

So many famous successful movies and advertisements done by famous actors were also published and came out in our past years but still being termed as NEW INDIA and LIBERAL INDIA people do not accept to change their mentality. Still the shopkeeper will wrap your sanitary pad in a black sheet and give it to you still people will question you to enter the temples and still women are using old clothes.

This is the mentality we need to change hand in hand to tell people how important the need is. We are promoting cleanliness, encouraging dialogue about sanitary napkins and basic sanitation but none of them is of any use if we refuse to provide basic facilities to women or can make them use the product in need.

The shame, the taboo, lack of access to provide clean sanitary napkins can further add to the challenges and serious health problems.
